Her distinguished federal service—including holding a Top-Secret security clearance and serving as a United States Congressional Chief of Staff —equips her with unparalleled expertise in navigating complex regulatory environments and building strategic partnerships. During her congressional tenure, she managed multi-million-dollar federal appropriations for North Texas infrastructure and helped protect thousands of local jobs during critical economic transitions.


As Vice President of Strategic Affairs, Jane serves as an advisor for Matthews' development pipeline, ensuring projects maximize community impact through an integrated approach—recognizing that thriving communities require stable housing, meaningful employment, and the infrastructure and economic opportunity to support both. She also oversees the company's multi-family development portfolio managing affordable and workforce housing projects that create lasting value.


As Senior Vice President of Strategic Affairs for Inspire Dallas, Jane ensures the $3+ billion Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center transformation aligns with all critical stakeholders—from community groups and contractor associations to local businesses, hotel operators, and city, state, and federal officials. Her leadership bridges diverse interests to build consensus around Dallas's largest public works project to date, positioning this landmark investment to compete nationally and anchor the community.


Jane serves on the board of the Barbara Jordan Leadership Institute and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
